This Craft of Preaching workshop is designed to encourage and inspire pastors while creating a Reformational community for the preacher of God’s Word. It will be a time to pause, learn, take inventory of the "what & why" of weekly preaching. We will challenge and explore the theology of preaching and our assumptions about what we hope to accomplish through this central task. In order to promote healthy and lively conversation the number of participants will be limited in number so don’t wait to register, it will fill up. Once you have registered you will receive a follow up e-mail with some suggested reading assignments to better prepare you for the conversation. There may also be an opportunity to submit a video of one of your sermons for our “Preachers Studio” portion of the workshop.
Dr. Peter Nafzger (Ph.D. Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO) is assistant professor of Practical Theology at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. He is the author of These Are Written: Toward a Cruciform Theology of Scripture.
